Jhunjhunu: In a joint action, Anti-Gang Task Force (AGTF) and Sardarshahar police Tuesday arrested two sharpshooters allegedly linked to Rohit Godara and Mahendra Delana gang in Churu district under ‘Operation Clean Sweep’.The police seized two Turkey-made foreign Zigana pistols, four loaded magazines and 49 live cartridges.Churu superintendent of police Nishchay Prasad M said that acting on a tip-off from an AGTF team, Sardarshahar police took action near Jaisangsar Fanta located on Taranagar Road. Anil Kumar (26), a resident of Hardesar, was arrested. From his possession, one foreign Zigana pistol, two loaded magazines and 25 live cartridges were recovered.In the same action, Nitesh (28), a resident of Sardarshahar, was also arrested. From his possession, one foreign Zigana pistol, two loaded magazines and 24 live cartridges were recovered.AGTF team (Churu) in-charge and assistant superintendent of police Rajgarh Abhijeet Patil said that the source of the weapons recovered from the accused and the supply network are being investigated.
