Chandigarh: Two unknown miscreants robbed an auto driver of cash and mobile phone at knifepoint near a shooting range in Sector 25 on Friday night. Maloya police registered a case on the victim’s statement. Auto driver Aadesh Kumar, a resident of Sector 25, Chandigarh said two men signalled him to stop and boarded the auto. When they reached the area near the shooting range, one of them placed a knife at his neck and forced him to stop. He said the accused snatched his wallet containing Rs 600 cash and documents before escaping into the forest area. No arrest has been made so far. On Tuesday, an unidentified person snatched a mobile phone from kidney patients at knifepoint in Sector 38.
