Panchkula: Two private buses were impounded and fined a total of Rs 43,000 during a traffic enforcement drive in Barwala after they were found operating without valid documents and violating traffic norms.DCP (crime and traffic) Amrinder Singh inspected traffic arrangements in Barwala and checked the buses during the drive.One bus was challaned Rs 26,000 for operating without mandatory documents and for using illegal black film on its windows. The other was fined Rs 17,000 for lacking valid documents.Both vehicles were impounded for serious violations, police said.The DCP said strict action would continue against vehicles operating without documents, using illegal black films, overloading or violating traffic rules. He urged vehicle owners to carry valid documents and follow traffic regulations to ensure road safety.
