Dhubri: Two dumpers collided head-on at Moamari on NH-127B in Tamarhat, Dhubri district, on Monday, injuring one driver critically.One dumper was carrying stones, while the other was empty. The impact trapped one of the drivers inside the vehicle.After receiving information, a State Disaster Response Force team reached the spot and began a rescue operation. The trapped driver was rescued in critical condition and shifted to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital. Police identified him as Saburuddin Sheikh (40).The accident on the four-lane highway, which connects Dhubri with the Dhubri-Phulbari bridge, raised concerns among residents.
