NEW DELHI: Panic gripped outer north Delhi‘s Mukhmelpur area on Sunday evening after two children allegedly fell into a rainwater-filled pit in a field and went missing, officials saidAccording to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), information about the incident was received at around 5.55 pm on Sunday.Officials said the children are suspected to have fallen into a pit filled with rainwater in an agricultural field in Mukhmelpur, located in outer north Delhi.Following the alert, two rescue teams were rushed to the spot and a search and rescue operation was launched.Authorities said further details, including the identities of the children and their condition, are awaited.(With PTI inputs)
