Shimla: The police have registered two separate cases under the NDPS Act following a major operation against illegal cannabis cultivation in Dodra Kwar area of Rohru region. In the first case, police found 1,550 cannabis plants growing on a land allegedly in the possession ofone Surya Dev of Dhandrawadi village. While 1,530 plants were destroyed, the remaining plants were seized for evidence. In the second case, officials discovered 1,310 cannabis plants on land allegedly linked to one Ujendri Devi of Dhandrawadi and destroyed 1,290 plants. tnn
