Guwahati: Altogether 15 cadets of Sainik School Imphal have brought honour to the institution by clearing the prestigious NDA/NA Examination (II), Course No. 157/119, conducted by the UPSC. The achievement reflects the school’s continued commitment to preparing young boys and girls for careers as officers in the armed forces, officials said.“The achievement was accomplished under the guidance of the principal, Colonel A Rajiv, whose constant motivation and leadership played a vital role in inspiring the cadets to strive for excellence. The principal mentored the successful candidates in their preparation for the NDA written exam,” stated a release by the PRO defence for Manipur, Nagaland and southern Arunachal Pradesh.Colonel Rajiv congratulated the cadets on their hard-earned success and praised their dedication, perseverance, and determination. He also acknowledged the tireless efforts of the faculty and staff in guiding the cadets throughout their preparation.“The primary objective of Sainik School Imphal is to ensure the induction of the maximum number of cadets from the northeast region, and Manipur in particular, into the Armed Forces,” the Defence PRO said. “The success of these 15 cadets has filled the school fraternity with immense pride and serves as an inspiration for junior cadets to follow in their footsteps and contribute to the service of the nation,” he added.
