Hyderabad: Cyberbad Municipal Corporation (CMC) commissioner G Srijana has said top priority is being given to resolve public grievances with officials now required to provide a written response to every complaint within a week.The commissioner said a dedicated tracking system has been introduced to closely monitor the grievance redressal process and ensure timely action on complaints. On monsoon preparedness, the commissioner said 54 waterlogging-prone locations have been identified across the CMC limits. Permanent solutions have already been implemented at 38 locations, while work was on at the remaining places.Issuing a stern warning against the illegal dumping of construction and demolition (C&D) waste, the commissioner said violators would face fines ranging between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. “Vehicles involved in illegal dumping may also be seized, and strict enforcement will be carried out without any compromise to maintain the city’s cleanliness,” she added.
