Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy will address a gratitude meeting in Midjil mandal of the combined Mahbubnagar district on Saturday and thank the people for giving him his first electoral success.“Midjil mandal is the place where his political career began. On July 4, he will hold a thanksgiving meeting on the very soil where he commenced a 20-year political journey that took him from being a ZPTC member to the Chief minister of Telangana,” said a note from the CMO.CM Revanth achieved his first electoral victory as the Midjil ZPTC member in the 2006 local body elections. Subsequently, he became an MLC, the Kodangal MLA, the Malkajgiri MP, and finally, the chief minister of Telangana.During the tour, the CM will first visit the Urukonda temple to offer special prayers and perform the “Bhoomi Puja” (groundbreaking ceremony) for temple development works. Then he will share a lunch with close associates and key leaders who stood by him during the early days of his political journey.
