Varanasi: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s son Arjun and daughter Tina visited Varanasi on Sunday, where they offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath and Sankat Mochan temples, attended the Ganga aarti, and enjoyed a boat ride on the Ganga. They were accompanied by Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj from Jaunpur’s Machhlishahr constituency.The two arrived in Varanasi on Sunday evening and stayed at a hotel. During their visit, they first offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and later visited the Sankat Mochan Temple, where they performed rituals.They then headed to the ghats and took a boat ride on the Ganga, enjoying the scenic beauty of Varanasi. Tina was seen taking selfies and recording reels during the boat ride.Samajwadi Party city president Vishnu Yadav said that several party workers had gathered to meet Arjun and Tina, though only a few were able to interact with them due to time constraints.Besides visiting the temples and attending the Ganga Aarti, the duo also sampled popular Banarasi sweets, including peda and rasgulla, during their stay in the city.
