300 ABVP workers trained at 4-day provincial camp

Gorakhpur: Around 300 student and teacher activists from all 17 organisational districts of the Goraksh Province participated in the four-day provincial training camp of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), which concluded at Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy in Basti.Held from June 25 to 28, the camp focused on leadership development, organisational skills, ideological orientation and the role of students in nation-building. Participants attended eight training sessions and two special lectures covering ABVP’s organisational structure, work culture, personality development, communication strategies and expansion plans.The programme was inaugurated by ABVP national secretary Abhay Pratap Singh, central executive member Himalaya Singh Jhala, provincial president Dr Rakesh Pratap Singh, provincial secretary Shashikant Mangalam Gupta and provincial organisational secretary Puneet Agrawal.Addressing the concluding session, Abhay Pratap Singh said ABVP’s work culture is based on collective responsibility and social commitment. “The organisation functions on the spirit of ‘we’ rather than ‘I’, with every worker striving to connect students with society and contribute to nation-building,” he said.A special lecture on Sant Ravidas was delivered by Ankit Shukla, national head of the National Art Forum, who highlighted the saint’s message of social harmony and said the Bhakti movement played a significant role in promoting equality and cultural awakening.
