Jaipur: Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Saturday directed officials to prepare separate district-wise lists for new and pending cases received during rural and urban public service camps to facilitate faster disposal.He also directed them to ensure that the camps provide permanent solutions to issues related to roads, drinking water, electricity and healthcare, while warning of strict action against officials found negligent in carrying out their responsibilities.Chairing a review meeting at chief minister’s residence on the progress of the rural and urban service camps and preparations for the implementation of the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Rural) (VB-G RAM G) Scheme, Sharma stressed the need for efficient grievance redressal and close monitoring of works undertaken by various depts.He also directed that revenue cases pending for years, particularly in rural areas, be resolved on priority so that villagers receive timely relief.Sharma emphasised that the progress of work being carried out by all depts through the camps should be monitored continuously to ensure effective implementation and accountability.Reviewing preparations for the launch of the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Rural), also referred to as the VB-G Ram Ji Scheme, the CM directed the depts concerned to complete all arrangements before its rollout on July 1.He said the scheme would play a significant role in advancing the state’s vision of “Viksit Rajasthan-2047” by strengthening employment and livelihood opportunities in rural areas.
