Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud and AICC Telangana in‑charge Meenakshi Natarajan on Monday urged polling booth-level agents (BLAs) to remain vigilant during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, stressing that no eligible voter, particularly the poor, should be removed.Addressing a BLA awareness programme in Warangal West, Meenakshi alleged that attempts were being made to retain votes favourable to the BJP while deleting those of other sections.She and Mahesh Goud accused the Election Commission of acting under BJP influence, targeting SC, ST, BC and minority voters. “The BJP has crossed all limits and is indulging in vote chori, seat chori and political party chori with the agenda of one nation and one party,” they charged.Meenakshi called on party workers to conduct door‑to‑door visits to protect voting rights, while Mahesh Goud warned that democratic values were under threat.
