UT Police nab three aides of gangster Goldy Dhillon

Times News NetworkChandigarh: UT Police claimed to have arrested three operatives of gangster Goldy Dhillon and seized two pistols and bullets from the accused, Happy Chib, 20, Rahul Kumar, 24 and Vansh Sharma, 19. They are all residents of Samba, Jammu and Kashmir.SP, crime Manjeet Singh Sheoran said a joint team of the operation cell on patrol duty received intelligence about three Goldy Dhillon gang operatives roaming around on bikes in Chandigarh. He added that the accused, who had automatic pistols and were out to commit a crime on Dhillon’s instructions, would enter Chandigarh from Mullanpur. Police laid a trap and intercepted the accused after a chase.Police claimed to have recovered a pistol and two bullets from one the accused, Happy. Another sophisticated pistol and two live bullets were seized from Rahul, while five bullets were recovered from Vansh Sharma.Police said Happy worked in a scrap factory in Bari Brahmana. He has been arrested by the Jammu police many times. The second accused, Rahul, used to work in a clothing store in Vijaypur, where he got involved in criminal activities and came in contact with gangster Goldy Dhillon. He was also booked two criminal cases by Jammu police.The third accused, Vansh Sharma, used to help his father sell vegetables. Jammu police had registered four criminal cases against him.
