Traffic disruption in Hinjewadi phase II till April-end | Pune News



Pune: Commuters travelling through Hinjewadi Phase II may face significant traffic congestion over the next few weeks due to the ongoing cable repair work undertaken by Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL).The affected stretch is from Wipro Circle to MIDC Circle, near Metro station 3. The road has been dug up following a technical fault in an underground transmission cable. Only a single lane is operational for vehicular movement.Ddeputy commissioner of police (traffic) Vivek Patil of the Pimpri Chinchwad police said congestion is expected to peak between 8am and 11am, and from 4pm to 8pm. “We urge commuters to avoid this route unless necessary and use alternative roads,” he said.
