Hyderabad: PULSUS Group on Monday said it plans to accelerate expansion of its Ameenpur AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub after the Supreme Court upheld the project’s IT/ITeS park and SEZ status, clearing regulatory uncertainty around the 35-acre campus near Miyapur. The company said the ₹500 crore project will target 6,000 direct jobs and support about 30,000 indirect positions as operations scale in artificial intelligence, healthcare technology and digital services. PULSUS said the ruling enables fresh investment and faster development of facilities aimed at global healthcare information and research support markets.PULSUS Group CEO Dr Gedela Srinubabu said the Ameenpur project was conceived as a technology and employment hub but faced delays due to legal and regulatory challenges. With ITES-SEZ status in place, he said the company aims to build one of Telangana’s leading AI healthcare and digital innovation campuses, employing engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers and digital specialists.PULSUS Group cited parliamentary records under the India BPO Promotion Scheme showing that Omics International generated 2,836 direct jobs by March 2022, while its Visakhapatnam operations targeted about 6,000 jobs and supported an estimated 30,000 indirect livelihoods. The company said its Ameenpur operations have already created about 1,500 direct jobs and the campus is expected to strengthen Telangana’s technology, life sciences and healthcare innovation ecosystem, particularly along the Miyapur growth corridor.PULSUS plans partnerships with universities, research institutions, healthcare organisations, startups and technology firms to support AI-driven health solutions, clinical research, bioinformatics, data science and global digital service delivery from the Ameenpur hub soon.
