Itanagar: The Inter Battalion Thal Sena Camp for Tezpur Group of the 1 Arunachal Pradesh Battalion National Cadet Corps concluded at Rajiv Gandhi University near here on Saturday.The camp, which witnessed participation from NCC cadets representing various units, was conducted as a part of a multi-level selection process for shortlisting of NCC cadets for Thal Sena Camp, a report said.The Thal Sena Camp is one of the most prestigious annual training camps conducted by NCC.Qualifying for the camp boosts a cadet’s profile. Cadets of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam were screened through a rigorous qualification process, including a series of structure and competitive training activities such obstacle training, judging distance and field signals, map reading, tent pitching, and sessions on health and hygiene.These activities were designed not only to enhance tactical and technical skills but also to build confidence, coordination, and a spirit of healthy competition among the participants, it said.The camp aimed at fostering discipline, leadership qualities, and overall personality development among the cadets through structure military-oriented training.
