Jaipur: Rajasthan United Football Club have officially concluded their IFL 2025-26 campaign in fourth place, marking their best-ever league finish and continuing a strong upward progression from last season’s fifth position. The club ended their campaign after a hard-fought final match against Chanmari FC, which finished in a 2-2 draw at Kalyani Stadium, Kolkata, West Bengal, bringing the season to a dramatic close.In the final fixture, Rajasthan United took early control of the game with Gerard Artigas opening the scoring in the 24th minute, followed by Thomyo Shimray doubling the lead in the 40th minute of the first half. The team maintained their advantage for the majority of the match with disciplined organisation and attacking intent; however, Chanmari FC responded in stoppage time with two late goals to level the contest.Despite the late equaliser, the season concludes on a historic note for the club as Rajasthan United secured 4th place in the league standings, improving from 5th position in the previous campaign. The season has been defined by consistent growth, improved tactical discipline and reflecting the club’s continued development.Assistant coach Vikas Rawat described the match as thrilling, noting that the team controlled the game for most of the 90 minutes and displayed strong discipline and structure throughout. While expressing disappointment over conceding late goals, he praised the players for their commitment, effort, and consistency across the season, and extended heartfelt gratitude to the Ultras and supporters for their unwavering support throughout the campaign.Chairman KK Tak expressed deep appreciation to everyone involved in the season, stating that finishing 4th place represents clear progress for the club.
