Jaipur: The first Rajasthan Premier League Ball Badminton Championship 2026 is being organised under the aegis of Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association at Chaugan Stadium, here from June 14 to 18.Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Shaukat Ali Mansoori, secretary of Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association, online registration of boys and girls players of Rajasthan for participation in the competition was done from May 5 to 15.Based on the experience and performance of the registered players, they were divided into four categories — platinum, gold, silver, and bronze. Based on this, a successful player auction was held on Saturday at Hotel Vesta Maurya Palace in Jaipur.The winning teams of the league will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 51,000 and a trophy, while the runner-up teams will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 31,000 and a trophy.All matches will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis at the Chaugan Stadium in Jaipur. All matches will be held under floodlights from 6pm to 11pm daily, providing spectators with exciting and engaging action.The Rajasthan Premier League (RPL) has been formed for the successful conduct of the Rajasthan Premier League. The formed organizing committee will include patron Hawamahal MLA Swami Bal Mukund Acharya, president Dr Rajpal Sharma, organizing secretary Shaukat Ali Mansoori, co-secretary Laxmikant Sharma and members Abdul Abbas, Ankit Singh Naruka, Mohammad Zaheer and Abdul Wahid.After the auction process, a total of 8 teams in the boys category and 5 teams in the girls category were finally selected.Boys’ teams: Pinkcity Royals, Churu Challengers, Jodhpur Warriors, Karauli Kings, Tonk Tigers, Chittorgarh Spencers, Shekhawati Warriors, Hanumangarh HuntersGirls’ teams: Pinkcity Royals, Churu Challengers, Shekhawati Warriors, Bharatpur Royals, Marudhara Queens.
