CBI team searches arrested junior college teacher’s locker at Pune college, finds old question papers
A CBI team on Saturday carried out searches in college teacher Manisha Mandhare’s flat in Sukhsagarnagar near Katraj

Pune: CBI officials on Wednesday visited Modern College in Shivajinagar and inspected the desk, drawer and locker used by junior college teacher Manisha Mandhare, who was arrested in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case on May 16. The team recovered some old question papers from her locker, but it was not immediately clear which exams they were related to.Mandhare, the then biology teacher at Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce (junior college), is a key accused in the NEET-UG 2026 biology question paper leak case. According to the agency, Mandhare was associated with the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the NEET-UG examination, as a subject expert involved in the exam process.At the time of her arrest, Mandhare was on leave from the college. During Wednesday’s visit, the CBI officials also sought details about her role and activities from the college authorities.On Saturday, CBI had conducted searches at Mandhare’s residence in the Ganga Osian Park society in Sukhsagarnagar near Katraj. Another accused in the case, Manisha Waghmare, a beauty parlour owner, also resides in the same housing complex.CBI also brought Mandhare to Pune as part of the ongoing investigation, although her exact location was not disclosed. The Pune police provided manpower assistance to the central agency during the operation.
