tnnGorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday evening inspected the ongoing two-lane/four-lane road widening project from HN Singh Chowk to Jagesar Pasi Chauraha via Hadhwa Phatak at four different locations in the city.During the inspection, he directed officials to expedite the work while ensuring that public movement remains unaffected during construction. The CM stressed that the road widening work should be carried out in a planned manner so that traffic flow continues smoothly. Officials of the executing agency informed him that the project is likely to be completedwithin a month.Yogi also instructed authorities to prioritise public convenience and ensure proper drainage arrangements to prevent waterlogging on the road and in adjoining localities.Emphasising public safety, the CM instructed officials not to leave drains open at any point and to install safety barricades at all construction sites.
