Chennai: AMMK’s lone MLA S Kamaraj on Tuesday also extended support to TVK govt in the assembly, marking a turnaround, days after alleging that his signature on a purported support letter to TVK was forged. Hours after, AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran sacked him from the party and hit out at TVK president Vijay, accusing him of ‘horse trading.’Kamaraj said he had decided to support the TVK govt as the youth of Tamil Nadu had placed their trust in Vijay. “The youth of the state trust Vijay and so do I. Hence I have decided to support the TVK govt,” Kamaraj said.On May 8, Dhinakaran accused TVK of using a “forged” support letter in Kamaraj’s name and lodged a police complaint. At the time, Kamaraj too publicly denied supporting TVK and claimed that the letter attributed to him was fabricated.After Kamaraj’s speech, Dhinakaran flayed Vijay, saying he had promised to bring change, but had only brought ‘stench.’
