Gandhinagar: Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat has announced that he will avoid using the govt helicopter and plane, and use public transport as much as possible. He said in a statement, “After PM Modi’s appeal to minimize the use of fossil fuels considering global situations, I have decided to avoid the use of the govt plane and helicopter, and use public transport as much as possible. I have asked for downsizing of the vehicle fleet used for me. I also appeal others to follow the PM’s appeal.” Minister of state Praful Pansuriya too announced that he will not use escort vehicles.
