Pune: Union minister for communications and development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday said graduating students must become the “future builders of Viksit Bharat 2047” and focus on creating impact through innovation, healthcare and entrepreneurship.Addressing the 17th convocation ceremony of Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pimpri, Scindia said, “A convocation is not an ending, it is the commencement of the rest of your life. The education, values and experiences you have received here will give you the confidence to take decision and contribute to the nation.”He urged students to think beyond employment, take risks, and stay connected with their institution. “Build something meaningful for yourself, build something for others and build something for Mother India,” he said.The ceremony was presided over by chancellor P D Patil. Patil said the Vidyapeeth evolved into a multidisciplinary institution focused on academic excellence, innovation and social responsibility since its inception in 2003. He congratulated the students and urged them to use their knowledge to serve society with sincerity and purpose.
