Ahmedabad: Twenty startups were selected in the first edition of the UrbanX Ahmedabad: City Innovation and Startup Engagement Programme by iHub and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), for taking their concepts forward. The three-day event concluded on Thursday at iHub.“Some verticals under which the startups pitched the ideas were sustainability, energy, GIS, AI, deeptech, ICT, sanitation and waste management, environmental health, transport, and parking among others. In all, 170 entries were received of which 41 were selected for interaction with senior AMC officials,” said a senior iHub official. tnn
