Nuh, Mahendergarh to get new health centres

Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini has granted in-principle approval to establish two new health centres in the Nuh and Mahendergarh districts. According to health minister Arti Singh Rao, a sub-health centre will be opened in Khori Kalan village (Nuh) and a primary health centre (PHC) will be set up in Khatodra village (Mahendergarh).The initiative aims to provide timely healthcare to thousands of rural residents, reducing the need for travel to distant cities. These facilities will offer essential services, including maternal and child healthcare, vaccinations, treatment for common ailments, primary testing, and basic medicines.Minister Arti Singh Rao emphasised that the state govt is prioritising the expansion of medical infrastructure in rural areas to ensure quality services near every citizen’s home.
