Gurgaon: A 37-year-old man allegedly stabbed his wife to death following a quarrel at their rented accommodation in Bhangrola village early Wednesday morning. During the altercation, the accused allegedly attacked Rekha with a knife.Rekha sustained multiple injuries to her throat and cheek. She attempted to run towards her maternal uncle’s house located in the same lane, but collapsed midway due to heavy blood loss. She was taken to a hospital, where she was declared dead.Police teams from Kherki Daula police station reached the spot and called forensic, fingerprint and crime scene experts to examine the scene. A case of murder was registered.A preliminary investigation also revealed that the couple’s two children — a 14-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son — had been sent to their village three days before the incident, raising suspicion of possible premeditation.“Autopsy was conducted and the body was handed over to the family.
