Gurgaon: A 40-year-old woman jumped to her death from the 13th floor of a residential society in Sector 88, Faridabad, on Wednesday.She lived with her husband and two children on the fourth floor of Tower C-4 of a condominium. Initial investigations suggest that the relationship between the couple soured. However, police are trying to figure out the exact cause of the incident.Around 10am, a security guard saw her leaving her tower. He told police that she walked up to Tower C-1, but there was nothing suspicious about her actions at that moment. She allegedly took the lift to the 13th floor of Tower C-1 and jumped. She died on the spot.A team from the BPTP police station rushed to the society and sent her body for an autopsy.Primary investigation revealed that at the time of the incident, her husband was visiting his hometown and the kids were not at home.Police found that the woman used to work in a private sector company but left it around three years ago due to health issues.“No conclusion can be drawn regarding the cause of suicide at the moment. The matter is under investigation,” a police officer said, adding that statements from family members and society staff are being recorded.
