Gorakhpur: CM Yogi Adityanath on Sunday announced that the state govt would introduce a special relief package to compensate farmers for crop losses caused by unseasonal rain, excessive rainfall and hailstorms triggered by a cyclone.He said the compensation already provided was inadequate and assured farmers that the govt would ensure full reimbursement of their losses.Addressing a public meeting in Chauri Chaura after inaugurating development projects, Yogi said district administrations have been directed to conduct a comprehensive assessment and provide immediate compensation.
