TMC’s Pabitra Kar, BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari, and Congress’ SK Jariatul Hossain are contesting for this seat among others



BJP candidate Suvendu Adhikari is leading in Nandigram in the early trends as vote counting continues in the West Bengal constituency.Counting is currently underway in Nandigram, one of the most closely watched seats in the state this election cycle.

Suvendu Adhikari, the sitting MLA and BJP candidate, who holds a postgraduate degree and has previously represented the constituency, is among the key contenders as votes are being tallied.The 57-year-old leader is currently placed third in the candidate order. Congress nominee Sekh Jariatul Hossain and Independent candidate Md. Abi Ala are also in the fray as counting continues across the constituency.
