Panaji: Minerva Academy, Punjab, scored a dominant 9-1 win against Sesa Football academy in the opening game of the Dream Sports Championship-AIFF Junior League at Panchayat ground, Raia, on Sunday morning.Minerva were superior to Sesa in technique and speed, and literally wove a web around the hapless Goan team throughout the game. Konthoujam Denamoni and Nitin Kumar Pasi scored two goals each for Minerva, while captain Tony Huidrom, Punshiba Meitei, K Chetan Singh, Md Azam Khan and Mahtab Singh were also among the goals.Royden Carvalho scored the lone Sesa goal in the second half.In the second game of the day, Bengaluru FC hammered four goals past Jamshedpur FC, winning 4-0.
