Ahmedabad: The city in the morning experienced haze that later dissipated. The maximum temperature was at 37.4 degrees Celsius which was 1.4 degrees higher than normal, whereas minimum temperature was at 25.8 degrees which was 4.9 degrees higher than normal. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the temperatures are likely to remain in the same range on Monday.The state forecast indicated no large change in maximum or minimum temperatures in the next seven days. Light rain is expected in parts of Amreli, Bhavnagar, Navsari, and Valsad on Monday whereas other parts of the state will remain dry.Rajkot at 39.9 degrees recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state, followed by 39.8 degrees in Naliya and 39.2 degrees in Bhuj among others.
