Kolkata: Jadavpur University (JU) has started decentralised counselling and spot admission, based on general merit ranks, from Oct 15 to fill up vacant UG engineering seats. It has 148 seats vacant out of 1,190.Students can apply online and pay the application fee till Oct 23. The provisional valid applicant list and discrepancy lists will be published on Oct 24. Candidates can register grievances till 6 pm on Oct 25. After the final applicant list is out on Oct 26, the document verification, and spot admission will occur from Oct 28 to Oct 31 at the TEQIP Building.
