Amritsar: Akali Dal Waris Punjab De activists on Saturday organised protests against former Congress minister Sukhjinder Randhawa over his remarks on Amritpal Singh. The party leaders and members gathered in large numbers, raised slogans against Sukhjinder Randhawa and the Congress party. They also carried a symbolic bier before burning his effigy at the District Courts Chowk. Party leader Amandeep Singh Daddoana alleged that that Randhawa had made alleged baseless, provocative, and irresponsible statements against Amritpal.The leaders clarified that Akali Dal Waris Punjab De firmly stands for Punjab’s unity, Hindu–Sikh harmony, and brotherhood.
