CHANDIGARH : Haryana Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel addressed a grand gathering during the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti celebrations in Panipat, emphasizing that the upcoming archaeological excavation at Agroha Dham will unveil a glorious new chapter in the history of Maharaja Agrasen.Serving as the chief speaker at the event organized by the Maharaja Agrasen Charitable Trust, Minister Goel highlighted the state government’s approval of ₹40 crore under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to advance the historical excavation at Agroha Dham. He noted that this effort will bring crucial facts about Maharaja Agrasen’s legacy to light. He also expressed gratitude to the government for naming the Hisar airport after Maharaja Agrasen and establishing state-level Jayanti celebrations.Minister Goel asserted that the Vaishya community represents a culture rooted in service, cooperation, and social responsibility rather than just a caste identity. He urged the youth to actively preserve Maharaja Agrasen’s cultural heritage and carry his timeless ideals forward to future generations.
