A third Kadamba bus is also expected to be introduced at the earliest.“The meeting provided an opportunity to hear the difficulties faced by commuters and discuss practical steps to improve the service. The second Kadamba bus, which was recently not operating on the route, will resume service. Arrangements are also being made to introduce a third KTCL bus at the earliest,” Godinho said. The meeting was attended by the sarpanch and panchayat members, Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL) managing director and officials, regional transport office (RTO) officers, traffic police officials and private bus operators. The authorities concerned have also been directed to take appropriate action against operators who fail to follow prescribed norms and inconvenience passengers.“For students, working people and families who depend on public transport every day, reliable bus services make a real difference. It is important that their concerns are heard and addressed, and that the service meets the needs of the people who rely on it. We will continue to coordinate with the concerned departments and operators to improve the service and ensure that commuters in Bogmalo have more reliable transport options,” he said.
