Hyderabad: Contract research, development and manufacturing organisation (CRDMO) Aragen Life Sciences, formerly known as GVK BIO, has set up a new integrated high-potency development and manufacturing facility, Aragen OneHP, at its Nacharam campus in Hyderabad, expanding its services for highly potent molecules used in oncology and other specialised therapies. The 15,000 sq ft facility brings together discovery, process development, scale-up and cGMP manufacturing, enabling customers to move compounds from milligram-scale chemistry to multi-kilogram manufacturing within one facility.OneHP has one manufacturing line with a designed annual capacity of 500 to 600 kg of active pharmaceutical ingredient.Aragen said the platform can handle highly potent compounds, including cytotoxic molecules and targeted oncology therapies. It will also support future work in antibody-drug and peptide-drug conjugates.Aniel Khubchandani, CEO, small molecules-CDMO at Aragen, said OneHP would reduce handoffs between providers while preserving process knowledge as molecules advance towards commercial supply.
