NEW DELHI: The IMD has forecast thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in several parts of the states, with rain likely across parts of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and other regions. The weather is likely to remain unsettled over the next few days.
Delhi weather tomorrow
Delhi is likely to remain partly cloudy on October 8, with temperatures expected to stay between 34°C and 22°C.A slight drop in the maximum temperature is expected on October 9, when it may reach 32°C. Partly cloudy conditions are also likely on October 10 and 11, with temperatures expected to remain between 32°C and 33°C.
Uttarakhand weather
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for eight districts of Uttarakhand and forecast moderate rainfall over the next five days.The alert covers Dehradun, Haridwar, Tehri, Pauri Garhwal, Almora, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar.Rain accompanied by gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph is possible in these districts.Light to moderate rain is likely at some places across all districts during the next five days. Snowfall is also possible in areas above 4,200 metres.The weather department said the change in conditions followed the withdrawal of the monsoon from the state last Saturday, with a western disturbance now influencing the weather.
