Mumbai: Congress on Tuesday questioned the investigation of NIA and invoking of UAPA in the Antilia bomb scare case, alleging the Central govt had misused probe agencies to target an opposition-ruled (MVA) state govt.AICC secretary Sachin Sawant said Maharashtra ATS was investigating the case in 2021 when MVA was in office, but Centre brought NIA into the probe by invoking UAPA provisions. The party alleged this was done to “harass and pressure” the then Uddhav Thackeray-led govt.
