Panaji: Tirumalla Tirupati Multistate Co-op Credit Society has complied with the registrar of cooperative societies and submitted its financial records for scrutiny, said minister for cooperation Subhash Shirodkar on Thursday.He said that the entity’s finances are being assessed, with a decision on restoring permissions expected in a few days.“While we have revoked the licence, we cannot stop the operations overnight because the general public is involved here. Their savings are there. We don’t want to create panic. We wanted to assess the financial status of Tirumalla Tirupati Multistate Co-op Credit Society,” said Shirodkar.He further said the department was not briefed on the credit society’s trade licence being revoked for the Bicholim branch.
