New Delhi: In the final computerised draw for the academic session 2026–27, 4,144 children have been allotted seats in private unaided recognised schools in Delhi under the EWS, Disadvantaged Group (DG) and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) quotas. The allotments cover entry-level admissions to Nursery, KG/Pre-Primary and Class I.Of the 4,144 allotments, 4,125 are for children under the EWS and DG categories, while 19 seats have been allotted to CWSN candidates.Class I accounted for the largest share, with 2,248 children allotted schools. This includes 2,233 children under the EWS/DG categories and 15 under CWSN. Nursery recorded 1,309 allotments, comprising 1,306 EWS/DG candidates and three CWSN candidates. In KG, 587 children were allotted schools, of which 586 were from the EWS/DG categories and one CWSN candidate.Directorate of Education (DoE) has released the final draw results, allowing parents and guardians to check the school allotted against their child’s application. The lists contain details including the child’s registration number and name, along with the school ID and name of the allotted school.Parents can access the allotment lists through Delhi education department’s website. Separate lists are available for Nursery, KG and Class I, and applicants can locate their allotment using the registration details submitted during the application process.The exercise is part of the admission process for reserved seats at the entry level in private unaided recognised schools. Under the Right to Education framework, private unaided schools covered by the provision are required to reserve seats at the entry level for children belonging to specified categories.Candidates allotted a school are required to proceed with the admission process, including verification of documents submitted in support of their eligibility. Parents have been advised to check the allotment details carefully and retain a copy of the result for use during the subsequent admission process.
