Hyderabad: As many as 459 land parcels belonging to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, are all set to go under the hammer with the National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) set to conduct e-auctions next month.The 459 land parcels of RINL include 93,572.21 square yards in Visakhapatnam, comprising 456 residential plots at HB Colony, Maddilapalem, and three plots at Auto Nagar in Gajuwaka where the plot sizes range from about 128.94 to 2,728 square yards.The 456 residential plots at HB Colony, an established residential area of Vizag, cover approximately 87,949.77 square yards, while the three plots at the commercial and industrial hub of Auto Nagar are spread over nearly 5,622.44 square yards.NLMC has already wrapped up a three-city investor outreach programme in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Hyderabad ahead of the October e-auctions of the RINL parcels that will be held on RailTel’s E-Nivida platform in two sessions. While 243 plots will go under the hammer on October 12, the remaining 216 plots will be auctioned on October 16.The deadlines for registration and putting up the earnest money deposit are October 8 and October 14, respectively, NLMC said in a release.The investor meets, held to brief prospective buyers, investors and developers on the land portfolio and auction process, saw in-person and online participation from NRI and overseas buyers.
