Aizawl: CM Lalduhoma on Thursday met the chairperson and members of the first Mizoram state human rights commission (SHRC) since its formation in July.Lalduhoma extended his best wishes to the commission and assured its members that their requirements will be considered, with priority given to immediate needs.SHRC chairperson Justice Marli Vankung thanked the CM for appointing the commission’s members, informing him that the panel had already received three complaints.Vankung also raised the commission’s requirements for manpower and resources, given its recent establishment.Justice Vankung, a former Gauhati high court judge, and members Vanlalenmawia, a retired Mizoram judicial service officer, and K. Lal Nghinglova, a retired IAS officer, were sworn in by governor Gen.(retd) Vijay Kumar Singh on July 29.
