NEW DELHI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread rainfall across several parts of India on Friday, with Telangana, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Odisha and parts of south India likely to experience heavy to very heavy showers.Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are also expected in several regions.Delhi and surrounding areas are likely to see isolated to scattered rainfall from Friday, while rainfall activity is expected to intensify in parts of Uttar Pradesh.
