HYDERABAD: A sub-inspector attached to Kotagudem Two Town police station died after being hit by an unidentified biker while he was on Ganesh immersion duty near Tank Bund in Hyderabad.Police identified the deceased as SI Venkanna. According to Kotagudem police, the incident occurred while personnel were deployed for immersion duty. Venkanna was rushed to a hospital for treatment following the accident, but he succumbed to his injuries.The biker involved in the accident fled the spot and is currently absconding, police said.
