Telangan govt appoints V Hanumantha Rao as BC welfare adviser | Hyderabad News



Hyderabad: The Telangana govt has appointed former MP and senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao as adviser for the development of the BC welfare department, with the status of a minister of state, and has issued official orders to this effect.According to the govt orders, Rao will receive a monthly salary of Rs1,00,000. If a govt quarter is not allotted, he will be eligible for a house rent allowance of Rs50,000 per month. If he uses his personal vehicle for official duties, he will receive a conveyance allowance of Rs30,000 per month, along with fuel expenses of Rs15,000, which will be covered by the govt. He will also have access to a govt vehicle with a driver. Additionally, he will be entitled to reimbursement of medical expenses on par with All India Services officers and ministers.For the management of activities related to the BC welfare development advisory role, special staff will be allocated, including a private secretary, a data entry operator, two office subordinates, and a driver.The total expenditure related to this appointment will be met from the regular budget of the BC welfare department, as mentioned in the orders issued by the chief secretary to the govt, K Ramakrishna Rao.
