Narmada Apartments shifted to CG City, renamed Nautica Greens

Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has shifted its Narmada Apartments housing project from Gomti Nagar Extension to Chak Ganjaria City (CG City), where it will now be developed as Nautica Greens near the Ekana Stadium. The new project will come up on a nearly five-acre plot between the Ekana Cricket Stadium and Phoenix Palassio. It will comprise five 28-storey towers with 500 three-bedroom-plus-study flats and 20 penthouses. The flats will have a built-up area of around 2,100 sq ft each, while the penthouses will be about 4,000 sq ft in size.LDA chairperson Prathamesh Kumar has approved the group housing project. The complex will feature a gymnasium, swimming pool, clubhouse, park, children’s play area, power backup, and parking space for more than 500 vehicles.A park spread across about 3,500 sq metres is also planned.“The project has been approved for the selected site in CG City. Online registration for the flats will be opened after the project is registered with RERA,” Kumar said. The LDA had earlier planned Narmada Apartments near Rapti Apartments along G-20 Road, comprising 300 flats and 12 penthouses. Registrations were opened and flats were allotted through an online process and lottery. However, the project was stalled after a case was filed in court.A committee headed by the LDA secretary was subsequently formed to examine the issue. Based on its recommendations, the authority selected a new site for the project.Existing Narmada Apartments allottees will be accommodated in Nautica Greens without any additional charge. LDA officials said allottees who do not opt for a flat in the new project will be refunded their money with interest as per the applicable rules.
