State govt keep job promise, to give appointment letters to 800 aspirants

Lucknow: As part of its promise to provide one lakh govt jobs by the end of the year, chief minister Yogi Adityanath will hand over appointment letters to 21 candidates at a state-level ceremony in Lucknow on Saturday. Another 797 candidates will receive letters through their respective departments.A total of 818 candidates have been selected for posts in various departments.Among them, 48 candidates have been appointed as instructors under the vocational education, skill development and entrepreneurship department. Nine have been selected for the post of assistant statistical officer in the directorate of industries, Kanpur.In the medical and health services department, 357 candidates have been selected as X-ray technicians.The Ayush department has appointed 404 candidates, including 361 homeopathic pharmacists, four professors of homeopathy, five professors of Ayurveda, 22 Ayurveda readers, one professor of Unani medicine, one Unani reader and 10 lecturers.
