Chennai: City police arrested Nakheeran reporter Damodaran Prakash, 58, on Wednesday following a complaint from a 38-year-old woman YouTube host over a video that contained derogatory remarks and personal allegations against her. Police said the video had been uploaded in Jan 2026.According to the complaint, the video used the woman’s photograph and made false claims about her personal life. Adambakkam police had registered a case for offences punishable under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. A team led by the Adambakkam police inspector arrested Prakash at his residence in Chintadripet on Wednesday.
