Gurgaon: Two men were killed after their motorcycle lost its balance and rammed into a grille in the middle of the highway near Sarai toll plaza around 2 am on Thursday. The impact left both riders critically injured, and they later succumbed to their injuries.Police said 24-year-old Sonu was riding the motorcycle, with 22-year-old Sunni as the pillion rider. Both residents of Krishna Colony, they were travelling from Faridabad towards Delhi.Neither of the men was wearing a helmet, and both suffered severe head injuries after being thrown onto the road.Police said the highway was empty at the time of the accident and the motorcycle was speeding. CCTV footage of the accident has also emerged. Police said the footage does not show any car hitting the motorcycle, ruling out the possibility of a hit-and-run.Passersby informed police about the accident, and a team reached the spot to transfer their bodies to the civil hospital for post-mortem. Their families have been informed.
